Ahir Shah & Lauren Pattison India Tour

Sanjay Manaktala was the host for the evening, incredible with his techie humor. Thankfully Shiny and I weren't sitting in the front row, or there must have been a sea of jokes on the banking system and analytics. Lauren walked on to the stage, in her glittery cocktail dress. It took a good five minutes to get adjusted to her thick British accent, her jokes were cute stories from her Newcastle days to her stay in London; the most heart-warming joke was the one on her deaf nephew. But the real show-stopper was Ahir, the British Indian comic with Gujarati roots - who was fluent with his leftist drunken rant. He spared no one, starting the assault with England to Trump to Portugal to the BJP; he had the entire audience laughing uncontrollably. For a two and a half hour show and comics of this class, a three hundred rupee ticket was way too inexpensive.
