Bannerghatta Biological Park

Seraphina visited the zoo for the first time today. She's been excited with her board book on animals since the time it arrived. So Shiny and I thought why not go to Bannerghatta this Saturday to show her some of the animals in the book for real, and that's how this happened. The last time I visited was when few of my friends had come down to Bangalore; and for Shiny - the last time to Bannerghatta was during college. Although I pretty much knew where I should head with the route, we wanted to use Google Maps just to be sure. The interesting part was that there were two entries against Bannerghatta on Google Maps, one goes by the name Bannerghatta National Park and the other Bannerghatta Biological Park . Mysore with the newly-weds

Titus and Jasmine visited us in Bangalore, when mum was also here. So we planned for a Mysore Trip. Dad had to go to Tuticorin to take care of Charlie and Shiny had been advised not to travel, so they both couldn't make it to the trip. It would have been more fun had they joined. However we enjoyed the trip thoroughly. We covered Colonel Bailey's Dungeon, Tipu Sultan's Death Place and Summer Palace in Srirangapatna before we entered Mysore to see the most famous Wodaiyar Palace, Philomena Church, Sand Museum and Chamundi Hills. On our way back, we went for boating in Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary.
